Jefry Lie is a Pastor at GKBJ Kelapa Gading in Jakarta, Indonesia, serving as a preacher, retreat leader, and spiritual companion. He holds a Master of Theology in Biblical Studies from STT Amanat Agung and is a trained spiritual director, having completed the School of Spiritual Direction with CenterQuest (Cohort 1 Asia). With a heart for the next generation, Jefry has extensive experience ministering among youth and teens. He has also served as a chaplain and a Christian Religion teacher.

Since 2010, Jefry has been deeply shaped by the writings of Henri Nouwen. Nouwen's spirituality opened a doorway into the contemplative and mystical tradition, leading Jefry into a deeper journey of faith, one that embraces the quiet, often hidden ways of encountering God. This path eventually led him into an apophatic spiritual journey, especially through his formation with CenterQuest beginning in 2024.

Outside of ministry, Jefry enjoys playing tennis, a hobby he shares with his wife, Hani. Together, they have been married for six years and are grateful parents to two daughters, Kai (5) and Gwen (3), who continually remind them of joy, wonder, and grace in everyday life.
